FAITH LESSON 4: RENEW YOUR SPIRIT
- Not Rude, Honest

It is important to not only believe in a renewed spirit but to ask for it, and to trust that it is available to you.

Your spirit is what connects you to God. While we are made of flesh and bone, and we know that part of us will eventually fade away, our spirit is not bound in the same way. Our spirit can be restored, strengthened, and remain forever young.
There will be moments in life when you feel worn down, discouraged, or completely depleted. In those seasons, it may feel as though your spirit is tired, aged, or even fading, but feelings are not final. Knowing that your spirit can be renewed, that God can restore, recharge, and revive you, is the difference between being down for a season, and a lifelong state of defeat.

Life can be incredibly challenging; your experiences, your circumstances, and even your own decisions, can weigh you down. Regardless of how you arrived at that place of weariness, you must remember that God can renew your spirit.
“10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." Psalm 51:10 (KJV)
Never feel too tired, ashamed or unworthy to come to God. God is the one who restores what is broken, heals what is wounded, and removes what stands between you and a full, abundant, life. God loves you, and you were never meant to live in constant turmoil or quiet despair.
So when you feel low and your spirit feels heavy, don’t sit in it. Renewal is always within reach, just ask.
