FAITH LESSON 3: GOD LOVES YOU
- Not Rude, Honest

The second #FaithLesson focused on purpose and it may have led you to ask yourself why you been chosen to execute a God led purpose. Not because you are perfect. Not because you earned it. Not because you proved yourself worthy. You have been chosen because God loves you.
Love is one of the most overused words of our time. In an era of constant connection via the internet and social media, we have watched love be misdefined, diluted, and distorted. What people call "love" often comes with conditions, expectations, and expiration dates. The love I speak of here is different; it not a twisted version of it, it is the love that defines the word itself.
Human love is often conditional, limited, and inconsistent; God’s love is not. Love is not a thing God does or a trait God possesses. God IS love.

And maybe now you’re thinking, “Okay, God is love… but why would God love me?”
Have you ever felt compassion for someone you’ve never met? Has your heart softened at the sight of a vulnerable child or a gentle animal? If you are capable of love without condition or reward, why is it difficult to believe that God who created you, formed you, and has known you since the womb would love you?
"5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
The ability to love is not random, it reflects your source. To walk with God, love must flow through you because true connection with God begins with love, and the moment you accept that you are loved, you begin to understand why you were chosen.
