SAME SCENT, DIFFERENT PRICE POINT

K'Bridge Club by Xerjoff; Intense Café by Montale; Roses Vanille by Mancera; Delox by Tiziana Terenzi; Rose Gourmand by Zara - these are all sisters from the same scent profile family.

I'm not sure which fragrance house originally created this delectable rose-vanilla scent profile, but it has become very popular, and has been done in subtly different ways, by many fragrance houses, at different price points.

It is somewhat true that expensive products (not just perfumes) generally have better ingredients, but in perfumery, I don't think better ingredients always translate into better scents. It is also a myth that expensive perfumes all have great projection and/or longevity (8+ hours), and some actually perform quite poorly. #NotRudeHonest

So, which ones of these sisters should you buy? That's up to you, but I'll provide a #SillagebyNRH breakdown of each one, in order of price point, to help you decide.

Strong chocolatey coffee opening, that settles into a rosey, honeyed vanilla.

Slightly spicy, caramelised rose, with coffee vanilla. Beautifully blended.

Very sweet rose vanilla, with a musky dry down. Gourmand and not floral.

Rich, creamy coffee vanilla, with rose. Intense, but linear.

Lovely rose vanilla opening, but it becomes a skin scent after about 3hrs.
