I've decided to turn #OnlyOne into a series and this is the season edition. Rules are the same: choose only one perfume for each category. In a previous post I selected my favourite perfume for each accord, select here to read.

Spring Summer Autumn Winter

Spring Perfume

Granada by Memo Paris is a white floral sweetened by syrupy grenadine. The grenadine makes it very unique, while the white florals ground the sweetness and bring a freshness to the blend. The sillage on this is incredible, and a light spring breeze will ensure everyone gets a waft of this beauty.

Sillage: 8/10

Summer Perfume

Stricnina by V Canto (Quinto Canto) is a loud, mixed-fruits and musk scent that will get you compliments. Is it similar to Xerjoff's Erba Pura, Tiziana Terenzi's Kirke or Rasasi's Jasmine Wisp? Yes, but they are definitely cousins and not sisters, Stricnina being the girliest among them.

Sillage: 9/10

Autumn / Fall Perfume

Magenta Tanzanite by Armani Privé is a beautiful creation. I sprayed this once on the back of my hand while going through Duty Free at an airport; a few hours later the beautiful scent was still cocooning me on a 6hr flight. I purchased it the first chance I got! Creamy, spicy, vanilla coffee with freshness coming from ginger and bergamot. Minuit et Demi by Fragrance Du Bois is a fraternal twin, so you don't need both.

Winter Perfume

In the winter I like comforting and cozy scents, and for me that means laconic and/or vanillic. Fève Délicieuse by Dior is my true favourite for this season because it smells like nothing I've ever smelled before or since, but as it's been discontinued, I figured I'd provide another option. Italica by Xerjoff Casamorati is the milkiest perfume on the market so it satisfies my needs, but it's very polarising as it is very gourmand and can be too cloying for some. Personally, the milk and notes of saffron, toffee and sandalwood create such a beautiful scent that I find perfect for the coldest time of year.

Sillage:7/10
