Who did you think of when you read that title, and why was it Michael Jackson? One word - Thriller.

Probably the most recognised song, music video, choreography and outfit on the planet, Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' is iconic on so many levels! Every Halloween this song blares from speakers everywhere, and children and adults alike wear costumes inspired by this video.

Michael Jackson has been dead 16 years and still holds the record for 'Best-Selling Artist of All Time', and, according to the Guinness World Record, the 'Thriller' album is still the best-selling album ever. He holds many other records which all prove the point I will never back down from - Michael Jackson still is the greatest artist, performer and musician of all time. Beyoncé is great, and definitely in second place, but she's no MJ.

I saw a tweet stating that "Michael Jackson is to Halloween what Mariah Carey is to Christmas." and I couldn't agree more, they have managed to "cease" a holiday by creating timeless songs that have become synonymous with those seasons, generating guaranteed income at least once a year! 🤑

There is so much that can be said about the legend that is Michael Jackson and there are varying opinions about who he was and how he lived his life, but the thing that is undisputed is the cultural impact he has had and music, entertainment and beyond.
